Packed full of goodness, these bowls will satisfy a sweet craving while providing your body with healthy nutrients
I am totally addicted at the moment to my creamy, spoon licking smoothie concoctions. It’s a delicious breakfast or dessert alternative that is sweet and satisfying and completely processed grain free and dairy free. Sometimes I’ll add some almond meal instead of coconut flour, sometimes some unsweetened shredded coconut, nut butter or frozen blueberries.
- 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
- 1 tbsp coconut flour
- Handful frozen strawberries
- Handful frozen raspberries
- Handful frozen spinach
- 1/2 small sliced frozen banana
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- Generous squeeze honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Add all ingredients into a high-powered blender; then top with a little water. Pulse and add a little water as required until blended into a thick, ice creamy consistency. Scoop from blender into a bowl then top with a some sliced fresh strawberries or banana. I topped mine today with some Purely Elizabeth Ancient Granola.
